How we source

Every figure in this publication comes from one of two places, and the difference is stated in the text. The first is a document the subject itself has filed or published: a regulatory filing, a proxy statement, an application to a regulator, a company's own results release, a published clinical result, an instrument's measurements. The second is a press report, which is identified as a press report wherever it is used.

Where a number is a forecast or an estimate, the text says so and names whose forecast it is. Where a passage is a constructed scenario rather than reporting, the text says that too, before the passage begins.

Each article carries a list of its sources at the end, separated into filed documents and press reports, with links to the originals wherever the original is public.

Corrections

If a figure in this publication is wrong, we want to know, and we would rather hear it from you than from a reader. Write to [email protected] with the article, the passage and what the correct figure is. Corrections are made to the article itself and noted.

Right of reply

Any organisation described in these pages may respond. Send the response to [email protected] and it will be published alongside the piece, unedited except for length, with the date it was received.

Where this publication writes about a company connected to its owner, the connection is disclosed inside the article itself, not here, so that a reader encountering the piece on its own sees it.
